SWIM TEAM MEETS
Swim Meets traditionally swim on Tuesday evenings during the swim team season. This schedule is determined by the CSA (Community Swim Association). Warm-ups begin at 4:30pm and the meet begins at 5:30. Ideally the last race is finished by 9:00pm.
** NOTE: There will be a sign-up for parents to sign their children out if they’re going to miss a meet. This is extremely important as a missing swimmer that was signed up to swim and was a “no show” takes points away from the team (no one was able to swim that event), and effects relays with 3 other swimmers (we would also loose points if there is less than 4 swimmers show up and swim the event)**
Volunteers are crucial to run these events. There are 5 swim meets during the season, plus City Meet season ending event. We generally host 3 home meets and have 2 away meets.

Tues, July 2nd HOME vs Southeast Tigersharks (**We hope to reschedule this one for Thurs, June 27th to avoid having a meet the same week as City Meet**)
City Meet
July 6th – 8th at Greensboro Aquatic Center (Sat, Sun, Mon)
Our goal is to bring as many swimmers as possible to City Meet, so we hope our swim families will keep these dates open on their calendars. This event is the culmination of our swimmers’ efforts during the season and an opportunity to celebrate their improvements and successes throughout the season. This milestone is much more fun for the swimmers when we are there as a team group supporting each other.
